What does refuge support mean?
- The refuge support services provide help and
support to women and children who have experienced Domestic
Violence (D.V).
- Accommodation which is safe, supported
and confidential.
The refuge has 24 hr staff who will support you through this
time of crisis.
- We provide information to help you make decisions.
- Sign posting to other support services i.e. benefits, legal expertise,
housing, schools, medical and court.
- Resettlement and aftercare support.
Refuge is run by women for women with women
- We offer 24 hour support.
- Take referrals from, self, PSNI, doctor, Housing
Executive, social worker, health visitor, family.
- Safety and confidentiality are a priority within
the refuge, and security systems are in place for your protection.
- Children are welcome at the refuge.
