Community Support Services
The Community Support Service aims to respond to the needs and requirements of women experiencing or who have lived with Domestic Violence. We offer a confidential support service brought to you in your community setting in urban and rural areas of L'Derry and Strabane. The Community Support Workers will assist in identifying your needs and the options available to you and encourage you to make informed decisions and choices.
Your Community Support Worker will
- Talk confidentially to you about you
- Bring our services to you
- Give support and information
- Advocate and give Welfare Rights information
- Assist with Protection Planning and home security
- Contact other agencies and organisations making initial enquiries on your behalf
- Give Housing and legal information
- Provide a listening ear service
- Give you links to other Women's Aid Services
